Barber shop Pinch
Being famous for its eclectic and laidback bohemian atmosphere - not to mention their haircuts - barber shop Pinch is also known for a series of murals decorating the back wall at the shop. The shop saw a number of local designers, illustrators and tattoo artists put their touch on it. We were invited by the creative mind behind Pinch, Kengur (Serbian for kangaroo), to create a mural which would grace the wall for a period of 3 months.
The wall with the mural stands opposite to a large mirror and for that reason we created a flipped image that could only be seen “correctly” when it is reflected in the mirror. We’ve illustrated and a custom designed type in homage to the man himself - Kengur (the marsupial). The mural is 3x5m large. It was drawn by hand (with a little help of a projector), with white chalk.
